There is a world where gods you’ve never heard of have wound themselves into hearts, and choice has led its history down a different path.

This is a world where France made a small, downtrodden island called England part of its vast and bloated empire.

These people are dangerous.

And wanted. Desperately wanted.

Anybody excited about The Hobbit movie?

I’m going to be honest: I initially thought making this so many years after the Lord of the Rings trilogy was a terrible idea, but the trailer looks good.

The Hobbit was the only of Tolkien’s book I found readable, so I think maybe this will be interesting. I loved the LOTR movies, and I’m guessing The Hobbit won’t disappoint either.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was on television here last night. I’ve never seen it before! Actually never read the book either (*ducks for cover!*), so I really wasn’t familiar with the plot. I have read the first five books of the series, but for some reason never got around to the final books.

Because I couldn’t become upset about changed plotlines, I thought they did a pretty good job with the movie. Others may disagree!

Here’s a Half-Blood Prince book necklace:
